It's Official: We're Moving To Georgia!

Dean and I were in Georgia last week scouring the Atlanta area to find a new place to call home. We didn't actually plan to find the house, only the area but low and behold we found a home we fell in love with in an amazing neighborhood. It's in Douglasville which is about 20 miles west of downtown Atlanta where Dean and I will commute daily.

Besides the fact that the home has everything we were looking for, the community sealed the deal. It's called Tributary At New Manchester. It's 1500 acres and is right next to the 2500 acre Sweetwater Creek State Park. The features we love about Tributary are: there are several dog parks and recreation parks all within no more than a 5 min walk from any home, all parks have WiFi, the pools, the gym, extra wide sidewalks, full-time activities director, hiking and mountain biking trails, and my personal fav, all homes are EarthCraft meaning they are built to be energy efficient and reduce energy consumption by about 30%. And these just name a few. Feel free to check out the website at www.tributaryga.com

The house has 3 bed, 2.5 bath, 2 levels, hardwood floors on the main level, fenced backyard, large bedrooms, walk-in closets, garden tub, kitchen island, and a large front porch.

Our move day is May 15, 66 days from today! I'm so excited to be moving back home!

Oh, how exciting! What a beautiful house. Are you buying or renting? I hope the commute isn't too bad. ATL traffic inside the perimeter SUCKS big time. That is one thing I do not miss! We will be in GA the first week in May so it looks like we will miss you there. We will be in Orlando May 16-23. Assuming we aren't moving, that is, which we will find out tomorrow!!! So you got accepted to GSU?
